Your Thermomix TM6® comes with a two year limited manufacturer warranty but if you are looking for coverage beyond that time frame I recommend investing in a Thermomix® Protection Plan.  It will be offered to you upon check out in one, two or three year terms through the Extend company.  The plan kicks in after the manufacturer warranty expires on the Thermomix® itself (not accessories) providing fuss free replacements and extended failure protection should you experience power surges or electrical failures.

Investing in a second Mixing Bowl is like having an extra pot or pan at the ready whenever you need it.  If you have a household with food allergies where cross contamination is a concern then this is a must have.  An extra mixing bowl is a complete bowl (it includes the bowl, lid, mixing blade, base to hold the mixing blade and the mixing cup that fits in the top of the lid).  Works great when you need to switch between preparing hot things you cook in the bowl and then you need a cold mixing bowl, working between a dry and wet bowl, or when you are using the bowl to proof dough but want to continue on with additional aspects of a sauce or additional component in your recipe.  This is my #1 accessory recommendation.

I know, I know you're thinking a spatula?  BUT YES!  Although you receive one with your TM6® an extra one will absolutely save you time and frustration not having to go pull it out and wash it if it's in the dishwasher.  Or if you misplace it (guilty as charged).  This spatula is designed specifically to stir and mix safely and comfortably – even when the machine is running. The hook on the edge is essential for easily (and safely) removing the simmering basket out of the mixing bowl.  Ordinary spatulas will not work as well as this one does anmd that isn't just a sales pitch it is true.  Worth adding!
